Sammy Watkins, a former Bills wide receiver, joins the Ravens.
The Baltimore Ravens announced on Tuesday that they have signed the 29-year-old. Their explanation was similarly based on damage.

According to the NFL, the Ravens placed starting receiver Devin Duvernay on injured reserve earlier that day.

Watkins is no stranger to the city of Baltimore. In 2021, he caught 27 catches for 394 yards and a score for the Ravens.

Watkins inked a one-year agreement with the Packers this spring. Over nine games with the Pack, he only caught 13 receptions for 206 yards and zero touchdowns.
Watkins was selected by the Bills with the fourth overall choice in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Among the steps made to accomplish this was the blockbuster trade of Watkins to the Los Angeles Rams in 2017.
With the Ravens currently in fifth place in the AFC, there is a chance that Watkins and the Ravens will see his previous team again in the postseason.
