Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the Saudi club Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, the team announced on social media on Friday.

The club tweeted a picture of Ronaldo holding up a yellow No. 7 Al Nassr jersey 

Since his departure from Manchester, rumours have circulated that he was close to signing with a Saudi Arabian team.

Ronaldo slammed the club's owners. That he was benched in the knockout rounds and Portugal lost to Morocco in the quarterfinals. 

Ronaldo, 37, will receive a sizable salary in what could be his final contract. the Portugal star could earn up to $200 million per year from the deal.

Despite Portugal's disappointing performance in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Ronaldo became the first man to score in five World Cups.
